The Path Within is a VR game I created which immerses players in a tranquil world they can freely explore and interact with. Playing with scale, I’m trying to create an intuitive experience unique to VR.

Through this game, players can take a break from the outside world to enjoy peaceful exploration, meditation, and inner reflection.

Mechanism:

The game's controls are designed to be intuitive, with movement mechanics inspired by 3D marble maze toys. The game world is a spherical 3D maze where players sit in a pod (like a marble). 

Players control their movement using a miniature version of the world—tilting and moving this miniature causes the larger world to shift simultaneously. Like a traditional marble maze toy, the pod travels along paths based on how players tilt the world.
